Renzo Gracie Head Professor Zed Chierighini
Zed is a Black belt under Renzo Gracie that has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 17 years. Zed is originally from Florianopolis; city on southern tip of Brazil. As a 5 time Pan American medalist, 2004 NAGA Champion and a 8 time South Brazil champion Zed is more then qualified to appoint as IKAIKA's head instructor.

Senior Instructor Louis Levy
Louis is a former Division 1 athlete that specializes in "No Gi " . He is well versed in nutritional health, strength training and conditioning. A 2006 NAGA World Champion that has had the experience of training in Asia and the top academies in America.

Here at IKAIKA, experienced instructors work closely with students teaching a variety of techniques and conditioning methods at the highest level of instruction. Our classes have been designed to cater to students of all ages and skill level.

Meaning of Ikaika

IKAIKA in Hawaiian has many different meanings.Warrior, Vigor, Energy, Strength, Perseverance, Powerful and Mighty. These different meanings are all associated with Brazilian Jui Jitsu and make up the foundation of our program.

Why Ikaika?

Students of IKAIKA gain a deep understanding of the workings and limits of the human body. This knowledge can be used to subdue and control an opponent, whether for sport or self-defense. The path to this knowledge requires discipline that is both physically challenging and emotionally rewarding.
